The season of Lent is a 40-day journey that begins with Ash Wednesday and culminates in Easter Sunday. This season is marked by repentance, humility, fasting, and self-examination. We remember Jesus in the wilderness fasting and resisting temptation, and also think of our sin that led Jesus to the cross.
