“If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95 percent of what we do would go on and no one would know the difference. If the Holy Spirit had been withdrawn from the New Testament church, 95 percent of what they did would stop, and everybody would know the difference.”
― A. W. Tozer
The Prayer Life of the Church is one of the primary ways God’s people labor with God to shape the world, demonstrate His power, and bring salvation to those far from him. We have many prayer rhythms in the life of Frontline Church, but there are seasons when the church is called to slow down and, in weakness and hunger for God, fast and pray. We want to give intentional, consecrated space to cry out to God and ask him to pour out his presence to bring renewal to the church and to capture our hearts afresh, for his glory and the good of our cities.
We are taking 24 hours to pray for revival and renewal as a church, kicking off with a night of worship at each congregation. Community and discipleship groups are invited to pray together or to commit to covering several blocks of time during the 24-hour window. Sign up for 1-hour blocks to pray wherever you are, listen for God’s voice, and intercede for God to move powerfully in the church and our city.
