Baby dedications are an opportunity for parents to commit their child to God before the church, to receive the prayers for their child, and to invite prayer for their parenting to be shaped by the gospel.

While baby dedication does not take the place of salvation, it is a meaningful step that expresses your intention to raise your child in the truth of the gospel. It also allows the church to come alongside you—to pray for, encourage, and support you as you lead your family.
