The Frontline Residency is for individuals who want to explore a call to vocational ministry, and have either completed the Frontline Internship OR have previous ministry experience.
What do we do?
Our hope is to develop residents who carry the same level of leadership and love for the local church as Frontline’s leadership community, and possess the character, competency, and calling required to enter into full-time vocational ministry.

When does the residency begin?
The Frontline Residency will start on August 1, 2024 and run through July 31, 2025.

Weekly Commitment
Each resident will spend roughly 20 hours a week learning to care for God’s people as they serve in a particular ministry at a particular Frontline congregation, and around 20 hours a week learning to lead God’s people as they either: a) work full-time in a Frontline congregation, b) help lead the internship program, or c) participate in the internship program alongside the interns (if they did not previously complete the Frontline Internship).
How are residents paid?
Residents raise financial support to provide a salary for 1-2 years. They will go through a mandatory training with Reliant, a partnering organization, to learn how to raise support and to manage financial gifts and supporters.
Where do residents live?
Residents live throughout the OKC metro area, often choosing to stay with family or rent an apartment or home with other residents. Residents are responsible for finding housing.
Do I have to be a Frontline member to apply?
You do not have to be a member of the church in order to apply, but you will need to sign up for our next available membership class prior to August 1, 2024.
