FOR THE CITY SYMPOSIUMS
For the City Symposiums are designed to train and equip followers of Jesus to view their vocations as holy callings and to live and work in a way that reflects the ethics of the Kingdom of God.
Watch Past Symposiums
We are blessed with so many single adults in all stages of life! The way you serve and love our church is beautiful. But even in community, singleness can be lonely, confusing, and frustrating. How do we allow ourselves to be discipled in our self-worth, loneliness, and belonging in the context of singleness? Our Singles Symposium helps explores these questions and topics.
Marriage is an institution first created by God. It’s a gift from God meant for our pleasure, the common good of society, and as a pathway to know Him better. And yet, we need help to know how to grow and ensure that our marriages endure for the long haul.
We hope this event helps provide resources for anyone - single, engaged, or married - to continue the important conversations that surround the myths and mystery of marriage and to help their relationship flourish and last.
THE GOSPEL & RACE
‘The Gospel & Race’, with special guests, Doug Logan, Leader of Acts 29 Diversity Initiative, & Brian Key. Our hope for this public event is that together we might be both encouraged and challenged to move towards Gospel hope and a Kingdom vision for our city in the areas of race, culture, ethnicity, and diversity, for the sake of the Gospel and the good of our city.
THE DIGNITY OF CARE
ADDRESSING THE CHALLENGES OF FAITH AND WORK IN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION
Amid the demands and challenges of the medical profession emerge profound questions of faith, work, vocation, care, and ethics. How does the Christian faith speak to these challenges? In what ways can a deep understanding of our humanity and God’s goodness shape our work in this vital arena? Join us as we talk through these important questions and more.
